Sensory Deprivation
Saturday Nights investigation went very well with more people sensing things as opposed to much scientific evidence collected. Although there was some instrumentation which picked up energy readings at the same point and location as people said they were feeling things.
This aside, I was able to utilise the first of my sensory deprivation experiments on one of the more sensitive members of the group. I have modded a pair of welders goggles with a relaxed strap. This means that when it is dark the wearer can see very little indeed and not alot when it is light. The goggles also have a lift up lense for health and safety reasons.
The purpose of these goggles is to remove one of the major senses that can be fooled or subjected to suggestion during a seance or vigil. One by one I will work on removing these senses to see if this will allow the sensitive part of our mind to focus more on what is sensed by other senses we may have.
The goggles are the beggining of something I want to try throughout the year on the investigations we go on. The subject wearing the goggles said that she could definately feel pains and things to do with what people were feeling around them, but without further study I could not tell if this was due to the goggles or indeed the activity in the room.
This experiment is ongoing….
